Add-On Programs for Students Enrolled in KCSA:
The Coda Program:
Coda immerses students in the world of harmony through chamber orchestra, chamber music or any combination of the two. This is an add-on for our more serious students who are already enrolled in the strings lessons program. Coda students must be strong readers in Book 4 and up on violin, or Book 3 and up on viola or cello, and they must also attend their Suzuki group classes (when applicable). Students enrolled in Coda must be able to regularly attend. Tuition for Coda will be pro-rated for a student that joins mid-year.
Coda Level 1 (Year 1 Students): 30 minutes
• Level 1-2 Coda Orchestra - Tuesday from 6:15-6:45pm
Coda Level 2 (Year 2 Students): 60 minutes
• Level 2-3 Coda Orchestra meets on Tuesdays 5:45-6:15pm
• Level 1-2 Coda Orchestra meets on Tuesday 6:15-6:45pm
Coda Level 3 (Year 3 and up Students): 60 minutes
• Coda Level 2-3 Orchestra meets on Tuesdays 5:45-6:15pm
Plus, choose one of the following chamber music times for your Level 3 student:
Mondays - 7:00-7:30pm
Tuesdays - 1:15-1:45pm
Tuesdays - 6:15-6:45pm
* A Level 3 Coda student can choose to do just a 30 minute chamber group, but our preference would be for them to attend 2-3 Orchestra weekly, plus a chamber group to get the full experience of Coda.
