August:

Parent Orientation Meeting - Sunday, August 20th 7:30pm - Fellowship Hall

KCSA Academic Term Begins - Monday, August 21st – Lessons and Group Classes Begin

September:

Labor Day – Monday, September 4th – No lessons or classes.

Suzuki Community Concert at Bishop Spencer – Friday, September 15th at 4:30pm

Suzuki Community Concert at Growing Futures – Tuesday, September 26th at 10:00am?

October:

Spooky Suzuki & Presto Concert & Trunk or Treat– Tuesday, October 24th at 5:00pm – Fellowship Hall

No group classes, Presto or Coda this week, SECE still meets.

Coda Chamber Masterclass – Wednesday, October 25th from 6:00pm – Sanctuary

Halloween – Tuesday, October 31st – No lessons or classes.

November:

Election Day – Tuesday, November 7th – No lessons or classes.

Fall Solo Recitals Weekend (choose one): Sanctuary

Saturday, November 4th at 1:00pm, 3:00pm and 5:00pm

Sunday, November 5th at 4:00pm and 6:00pm

Thanksgiving Break - Wednesday, November 22nd thru Sunday, November 26th – No lessons or classes.

December:

Suzuki Community Concert at Tallgrass – Saturday, December 2nd at 11:00am

Winter Break – Thursday, December 14th thru Wednesday, January 3rd – No lessons or classes. (Lessons resume on Thursday, January 4th.)

January:

Lessons and Classes Resume - Thursday, January 4th

Martin Luther King Day – Monday, January 15th – No lessons or classes.

February:

Coda Chamber Orchestra Concert - Wednesday, February 7th at 6:00pm – Sanctuary

      Coda Chamber Orchestra Dress Rehearsal - Tuesday, February 6th at 6:15pm – Sanctuary

Faculty Recital - Tuesday, February 20th at 5:00pm - Sanctuary

No group classes, Presto or Coda this week, SECE still meets.

March:

Spring Solo Recitals Weekend (choose one): Sanctuary

Saturday, March 2nd at 1:00pm, 3:00pm and 5:00pm

Sunday, March 3rd at 4:00pm and 6:00pm

Spring Break - Sunday, March 10th thru Sunday, March 17th - No lessons or classes.

April & May:

Final Group Concerts:

String Group Concert Dress Rehearsal - Tuesday, April 30th at 4:30-6:00pm - Sanctuary (Presto and Coda still meet on the 30th, and groups will still meet on Wednesday as well).

Spring String Group Concert - Tuesday, May 7th at 5:00pm – Sanctuary

Presto and Coda Chamber Music Concert – Tuesday, May 7th at 6:30pm – Sanctuary

Tuesday, May 7th – Group Classes, Presto and Coda are finished for the year. SECE runs until May 19th.

Tuesday, May 21st – Last day of private lessons, there are private lessons on this date.
